                               Medical scribing is the recording of interactions between a doctor and a patient. The Medical Scribe follows the doctor around and documents whatever he or she says.                                This information is subsequently entered into the patient's computerized medical records by the scribe.                                   Because they are familiar with medical language and have some clinical knowledge, a medical scribe frequently writes like a doctor would, checking for inconsistencies. They are not, however, in charge of making decisions about the patient's care or treatment. These data are digitally preserved in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
