                             A medical scribe is an allied health paraprofessional who specializes in real-time documentation of physician-patient exchanges, such as during medical examinations. They also locate information and patients for doctors and fill out papers required for patient treatment.

                              Before visits and procedures, a Medical Scribe retrieves and prepares patient records for physicians. They follow doctors on rounds and appointments, trancribing notes, observations, instructions, and other critical information. They collect and process test, procedure, and treatment orders.

To become a medical scribe, you must have the following skills:

7. Understanding of HIPAA regulations.
8. Computer proficiency.
9.Professionalism and customer service abilities are required.
10. Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
